Convicted in the «Hizb ut-Tahrir» case, Rustam Khalikov died in a prison in the Penza region
Rustam Khalikov, a 49-year-old resident of Chelyabinsk who was sentenced in 2021 to 12 years in the «Hizb ut-Tahrir» case, died at Correctional Colony No. 4 in the Penza region. According to the human rights project Free120, he died on September 27, 2026; the cause of death is unknown.
