Taiwan prepares criminal liability for exporting AI chips to China
Taiwan is preparing to tighten export controls on artificial intelligence chips in order to bring its rules closer to U.S. restrictions. After the new regulations take effect, shipments of AI servers and advanced semiconductors to China will become criminal offenses under the Foreign Trade Act.
