Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur resigned amid a scandal over the purchase of artillery ammunition for Ukraine and criticism from the State Audit Office. The disputed deal by the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (RKIK) with supplier Datasel S. R. L. led to advance payments of about 60 million euros, but the shells turned out to be incomplete and never reached Ukraine.
