Vladimir Putin signed a decree that restricts the export of cash rubles from Russia: citizens can no longer take out more than 1 million rubles to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), as well as to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. For legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the ban applies regardless of the amount, and the decree takes effect on September 29.
Spending on the «national defense» item in the 2027 budget draft will rise to 17.1 trillion rubles, which is 32.2% higher than the current level. For 2028, 16.6 trillion rubles are allocated for this item versus 13 trillion.
